As regards the Generals mivel dunner party and his keeping the Band, the Council are strongly of opinion that a very grave Military scandal will arise if it is not stopped and

therefore it is resowed that the

Acting Colonial Recretary draw up an application

to the assistant Military becretary asking the General to allow the band to play at Government House, the letter to be conclud in the most conciliatory terms. A draft better was accordingly prepared by the licking Colonial Secretary to the Assistant Militang Secretary acting for the Band, and being

read and approved it was directed to ber Buh forthwith.
